INTRO TO AUTO SKILLS CLASS
Subjects covered in first hour:
1. Shop Safety
2. What can be accomplished here?
3. What tools and equipment are available?
4. When and what maintenance needs to be done on a car and how to do it.
Second hour subjects:
1. How a car works, a primer in three parts.
First lesson: Engine, transmission, driveline
December 1st one hour length, Second lesson: Brakes, suspension, steering
January 5th Third lesson: Battery, Charging system, Starting system
These classes are basic in nature, and will give the participant a basic, general understanding of how their vehicle works.
